Johann Gareis, joinermaster, 1785-1856
Johann Joseph was born at 16.07.1785 in Klosterfreiheit and has married
1812 in Altstadt (a part of Ostritz today) the born there Maria Rosina Christina Lorenz,
daughter of the farmer Franz Lorenz from Altstadt.. He took over the fatherly business, and moved later from Klosterfreiheit to Altstadt.
His joinerworks will have rejoiced many people.
Unfortunately will no signature let us hit a work from him, so that a judge stays refused to us.
He died with 71 years at 15.03.1856 in Altstadt and left behind a son and five daughters. His son Friedrich Gareis became also a joiner and in the year 1843 a citizen of Breslau.
