The family of the beyond named Martin Gareis appears 1707 in Bohemian Saar, where they worked as maltsters. After 1720 there are also traceable the eldest of my tree as working there maltster Georg Gareis and maltsters son Joseph Gareis, which have later moved to Litschkau. Georg was presumable a brother of Martin.
